Marketing/Promotional/Sponsorship Opportunities

CHAMBER NETWORK

Supply 1000 pre-printed copies of your message (8 ½” X 11”) and we’ll insert it in the newsletter, mailed directly to the entire Chamber membership. This network mailing is done on a monthly basis. There is a reservation required and it is limited to 25 members.

Investment: $125 per mailing

The Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to refuse any or all of the insert material for any reason. This is a service to our paid member businesses and organizations. We will not accept insert material from outside the membership or any information that does not advertise or promote he products or services of a members company.

FEATURE BUSINESS OF THE MONTH

When you sign up to be Feature Business of the Month you are taking the opportunity to promote your business. With this you receive two visual display areas, one in the Chamber Office and one in the Dodge City/Ford County Development Office. These displays will be viewed by hundreds of visitors from out of town and Dodge City alike. This is your chance to show off your business. Items used for the display can include business cards, pamphlets, sales flyers, coupons, or product. Be as creative as you want. Also you will receive two posters displayed in each of the locations which are yours to keep to be displayed in your office to promote your business year round. In addition, you can write your own article describing your business and highlighting your specialties in “The Business Advantage” monthly newsletter.

ANNUAL BANQUET

Each year, the Annual Meeting is a chance for members to gather, have a nice meal, and fantastic entertainment. This is the premier business event of the year. It is also a time to learn what the Chamber has done and plans to do. Member involvement includes:

Corporate Sponsorship: $3000 (limit 2)
Receive 8 complimentary tickets
Table in front Row
Free table to decorate

Individual Tickets: $40

NEWSLETTER AD

Display ads are located at the bottom of the interior pages of the newsletter. Size of ad is 2 ½” X 2 ½”. We have 16 spaces available and the ads are located in the same spot every issue. The investment includes 11 issues that are distributed to over 1,000 Chamber Members.

CHAMBER COFFEES

        Any Chamber business can call and book the month of their choice to host this networking opportunity.

BREAKFAST/LUNCHEON SPONSORSHIPS

The Chamber holds breakfasts and luncheons each year. The breakfast agendas are a variety of business related topics that may include the latest demographics, community issues, political speakers, etc. The luncheons include annual reports from city and county officials as well as the education community. The formats are lively and the sponsor receives ten (10) minutes to report about his or her business.

Investment: $300 per breakfast or luncheon

For your investment you receive a 24 X 30 poster board with logo at the front entrance. Table tents with logo on all tables inside. Name recognition and logo on all promotional material prior to the breakfast or luncheon. And finally, you are mentioned in the “The Business Advantage” monthly newsletter. What a way to advertise your business to over 1000 Chamber Members.

DODGE CITY DAYS SPONSORSHIPS

The Chamber coordinates the 2nd largest festival in Kansas, “Dodge City Days”. For ten (10) days, the old west comes to life in Dodge City. Each day brings new excitement to the Dodge City area. If your business would like to be a part of Dodge City Days there are many different ways to achieve your goal. We offer several different levels of sponsorships. Pick the one that meets your needs and let the celebration begin.

CHAMBER NEWCOMER PACKET INSERTS

The Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce provides newcomer packets to anyone who is coming to the Dodge City area. These packets are requested by phone and in person. Membership in the Chamber gives you the opportunity to use the newcomer packets as a networking tool. Approximately 600 packets are distributed annually.

Why should I advertise in the Newcomer Packets?

• Your business is in the front of the prospect before any of your competitors
• Newcomers are not aware of businesses and services offered in the Dodge City area.
• What other way could you be guaranteed to reach new customers?

Dodge City Newcomer Packet Guidelines

1. Provide the Chamber with 600 marketing brochures (no bigger than 8 ½” X 11”).
2. Deliver your brochures to the chamber office no later than the 15th of your first month.
3. Participation in the program requires a year commitment.
4. Investment is $100 for the year and must be paid in advance.

THE PLAN ROOM

The Plan Room consists of ordering construction blueprints and specifications for the purpose of job bidding. Chamber member firms form a “pool” to provide this service. Their investment helps cover the cost of postage, shipping, long distance calls and related expenses.

How the Plan Room works:

• The Chamber office receives plans automatically from some architects and will order other blueprints upon the request of a Plan Room member. The Plan Room member provides the name and location of the project and the name and address of the architect. We call the architect requesting the blueprints for our Plan Room.
• When a set of plans is received, each member will receive a notice stating that the plans are available through the Plan Room. The first member to request a particular set of plans is the first to use them. The second to request is second to use them, and so on.
• Any plans checked out to a member will be chargeable to that member until released by this office and so indicated in a record book. A set of plans may be checked out for no longer than 24-Hours. A late fee may be accessed for plans returned late. The plans may be re-checked if there are no other members on the list, otherwise your name may be added to the bottom of the list.
• Members must pick up plans the same day that they request them. If plans are not picked up in a reasonable time, their name will be placed at the end of the list and the next member who requested the plans will be contacted.
• Each user MUST return plans to the Plan Room on schedule. Plans are NOT to be passed from one member to another without being returned to the Plan Room. To insure proper priority sequence, we cannot advise other members as to who has the plans at a particular time.

MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY

Each year the Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce produces a Membership Directory. There are 2500 copies printed and distributed each year. They are given to all newcomers to our community and also those inquiring about moving here.

Each Chamber Member is automatically featured in the publication twice: once alphabetically and once under the category of your choice. If you would like more exposure in this directory, you can add additional listings or place an advertisement.

The cost for an additional listing in the directory is just $20.00 annually.
